New Student Orientation

Congratulations on your decision to attend Vaughn College! We are excited to welcome you to the Vaughn community. You have made an excellent choice, and we are here to assist you in achieving your educational goals, starting with New Student Orientation.

Orientation is an event designed to put you on the best path for success at Vaughn College. The office of student affairs and academic support has designated special times for you to ask questions and get answers so your transition to college life will be a fun-filled and hassle-free experience. Attending Orientation is an important first step in maximizing your success as a student. We have found that students who attend Orientation are better prepared for college. All incoming first-year students are required to attend one of the scheduled Orientation sessions. During Orientation, students meet with academic advisers and faculty, finalize their fall class schedules, tour the campus, and meet with fellow classmates and friends. This is also the time to get your official ID card, parking pass, and other important details.

In order to provide personalized assistance for all new students. Orientation sessions tend to fill up quickly so we strongly recommend that you register early. New students are required to attend the session one of the two below.
· Tuesday, August 15, at 11 a.m. (full)
· Thursday, August 17, at 11 a.m.

Students also have an opportunity to experience living in the residence hall during this time.
